Cute they may be, but they will grow into lively and intelligent dogs who are entitled to decent treatment and a good life - but that most of them don't. Spaying and neutering can save unnecessary suffering and killing of puppies just like the ones in the photograph. Suffering - when no one treats them properly; when they are not fed and not properly housed, not trained and never get to see a vet. Killing - if no homes can be found for them. Or when the sweet little puppies grow into boisterous young adults - and no one has taken the time to work with them.
